  • It must be so much better for Obama to be able to stop the covert funding of the right wing Ukrainian Putsch and to be able to come out, funding overtly.

He always was pusillanimous in his dealings with rightists.

  • The US and EU are offering the Ukraine usurious loans that must be collateralised as sovereign debt that cannot be repudiated.

When the Ukraine defaults, all their resources will be the property of Western plutocrats, with decent payoffs to the Western Ukrainian leaders who signed the binding contracts for the sovereign debt.

The Western banks have been doing this in Latin America, East Asia, and Africa for years, especially after WWII when the US banned European mercantile colonialism, and forced the Europeans to adopt the American model of neocolonialism.

Mr Rall mentions this in his book, The AntiAmerican Manifesto, but John Perkins relates it from the point of view of a principle rather than as an outside journalist observer in his book, The Confessions of an Economic Hit Man. Perkins says, when the leader of a country, whether elected or a dictator, fails to play ball with the Western banksters, he’s demonised in the Western press and eventually toppled and replaced with a more compliant leader.

Which is what the West is trying to do to the Ukraine now.

The West received a very nice present from Uncle Joe Ctalh: he annexed a big chunk of the Austrian Empire and stuck it onto the old Russian Empire Ukraine. The former Austrians will gladly play the Perkins game with the Western banksters. And the Western press will explain to its readers that the former Austrian Ukrainians are all patriots offering the Ukraine its best chance at freedom and prosperity for all its citizens, while the group from the old Russian Empire Ukraine are described as thugs fighting for Soviet-style repression and poverty.

The Western press presents an excellent way to ascertain the truth: read what they say and believe the opposite.

  • “Maybe US unemployed should form a nation and get themselves invaded.”

I thought that was what happened with Occupy Wall st. Sadly the invasion did bring any cash, it just burned books.
