I draw a weekly editorial cartoon for The Los Angeles Times. With a little luck—and a bigger budget for hiring—this might turn into a staff cartooning job where I’d be doing work about Los Angeles and California throughout the week.
Here is this week’s offering: A University of Illinois study finds that Los Angeles is the second-most corrupt region in the United States.

Cool. Breitbart croaked in L.A., so maybe you can do a cartoon on him. That would be sweet. Just seeing a cartoon of that fat windbag sack of puss keeling over as he grabbed his chest would be funny. No caption even needed.
@ex,
Breitbart was a piece of shit. Even his loved ones are better off without him.
@Ted: No doubt. Be careful what you post about that shitsack though. Matt Taibbi ran an honest obit on his blog and in response conservatives published his home phone and address info. Taibbi and his family have been getting death threats. Just goes to show that conservatives never have enough blood on their lips, and their precious beliefs about free speech don’t extend to opinions outside their own.
Considering the sort of fans Breitbart attracted (and the litany of illegal acts they committed in response to Taibbi’s opinion piece), it looks like that pretty much validates Ted Rall’s assessment.
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? –Matthew 7:16
What about a cartoon about Breitbart’s funeral titled “Burial at sea”?
Basically, it would consist of a group of mourners gathered around a toilet…
Liberals made a big showing at Breitbart’s funeral.
They just wanted to poke him with a stick to make sure he’s really dead.
(You know what a big faker he was.)
