• The Wall Street Journal reports that dapper Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth only wants attractive, masculine, troops who meet waist-to-height requirements and have “impeccable” grooming to attend his speeches. This comes after he encouraged troops to inject testosterone and Hegseth’s speech at Quantico Base, where he declared “no more beardos” or “fat generals.” A scantily-clad Hegseth likes to work out with ripped, buff, totally 100% straight soldiers on base.
Hegseth, in Democratic crosshairs for investigations next year, ordered two US Air Force crewmen whose F-15E was shot down over Iran in April to take part in an interview with CBS’s “60 Minutes” about their experience.
• Trump set out to make it the 51st state. Instead, he has driven Canada into the arms of the European Union as an Associate Member, after antagonizing the Canadians for months, taunting the country’s prime minister and waging a relentless trade war. Trump threatened to respond with “serious tariffs” against Europe.
