Hmmm, so he DOES know one cannot and should not always believe the police? Does this guy take himself seriously? Does he know he failed Real World Journalistic Ethics 101?

I don’t know that “ironic” is the correct word. I would have selected “hypocritical.” I think “ironic” would be the case if Pringle were arrested for something and the evidence used for the conviction was a grainy video still or a falsely edited video clip. I think THAT would be considered ironic. (And, by Ted, enormously satisfying, I suspect.)
