It’s 1933 But Don’t Worry, the Democrats Are Fighting

Democrats and their political allies warn that Donald Trump is an incipient fascist, and there is considerable evidence that they’re right. At the same time, they’re normalizing his administration by voting for his weird cabinet nominees and refusing to stand fast against him.

  • uhhhh …. they’re giving him enough rope? We can only hope he hangs himself before strangling the rest of us. At least he’d finally be (wait for it) well hung.

  • The only problem with looking to Democrats for help is that the only help they really care about is for their own party elite.

The people protesting Governor Walker in Wisconsin fell into the trap of doing a recall instead of a general strike when Walker acted to decertify the unions.

The Democrats defended themselves as moderates by saying they wanted the same thing as did Walker, but only not so abruptly, that they were doing the same thing walker was doing only more slowly so as to avoid any great immediate shocks.

Two parties serving the Power Elite and none serving the resistance to the Power Elite pretty much determines the outcome.

    • General strike, how right you are. That goes all the way back to the air traffic controllers, the unions were complicit in their own demise when they let Reagan fire PATCO workers, instead of having a massive general strike and shutting the country down.

  • ‘NEW OVENS”? WOW!

    • Obama failed to empty Guantanamo, but Trump might find a discreet egress from the camp for the recently enhanced-renditioned through a chimney.

Just like Santa, but in reverse.

Now to find a legalistic term that will conceal the facticity of the process so it can be spoken of in public in benign and banal terms.
