Hillary and Bill Clinton will attend Donald Trump’s inauguration. The next day, Democrats will protest Trump, but the Clintons won’t be there.

Still triangulating on somebody else’s dime.

It’s all there in the open for anyone who wants to see it.
I wouldn’t want to see Hillary at the Million Women March.
She would only nose her way to the front so she could pose as an organizing leader, as if she had any solidarity at all with working women, solidarity that she failed to demonstrate while on the board of Walmart.
I really have trouble taking in the amount of cognitive dissonance that must be required to simultaneously think that HRC showing up for the inauguration but not showing up for the protest is not a clear sign of where her loyalties are and what she stands for at her core.

Exactly!

«All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts, …»
Guess which part Ms Clinton’s playing now ! Still, I appreciated Mr Clinton’s admonition to Mr Trump in the first frame, Ted – talk about irony ! And I do hope that there will be millions on the streets to protest against Mr Trump’s US presidency – I suspect not all of them will be supporters, erstwhile or present, of Ms Clinton….

The most important thing is to respect the transition of powers or somesuch.
Read: the most important thing is to not rock the boat (or rather luxury liner) of the power elite. All those schmucks outside who are treading water might otherwise get funny ideas and would have to be be kept in line in regrettable ways. We can’t have them bleeding on our hors d’œuvres, that really wouldn’t do.
