    The military hardware for the pillaging/burning/surfing scene in Apocalypse Now was provided by the Air Force of the Philippines. Apocalypse Now was also hardly a flattering portrayal of the U.S. military.

    Is a little fact checking too much to ask of a Russian propaganda organ. Besides, they should be experts on propaganda movies. They made Joe, the Man of Steel their leader for over 30 years.
