If someone breaks into your house, are you churlish for refusing to share? That’s the accusation lodged against Palestinians who never accepted the establishment of the State of Israel on their land in 1947.

No president or politician is perfect. But it’s especially dispiriting to see President Joe Biden actively cheerleading the genocide of the Palestinians in Gaza. Tens of thousands of civilians have been gratuitously killed in what he himself describes as indiscriminate bombing, yet he continues to defy Congress in order to send more weapons of death to Netanyahu’s barbaric regime.
Parthia Will Always Have the Right to Exist

Israel’s supporters argue that the nation has an inherent “right to exist.” Why? Why Israel? There are over 200 countries? Do they have an inherent right to exist? What about Palestine? What about all the nations and empires, like Parthia, that argued they were supported by God (or a god or gods) yet no longer exist? History shows that countries exist or cease to exist; there is no “right to exist.”
