As President Trump has shown with his drone assassinations of unidentified Venezuelans on boats in the Southern Caribbean, if the leader of the free world wants to kill you, he can come up with a legal justification that won’t withstand legal scrutiny. But by the time you make it before a judge, you’ll be blown to bits.

I often see Trump’s various actions presented in isolation. Trump ate a hamburger. Trump tied his shoelace. Trump looks tired, don’t you think? Etc. Etc. Without presenting the information in context with other presidents’ behaviors, it’s not of much use.
I have a lot of trouble buying that Trump’s latest kill, kill, kill spree is unique to the American presidency.
Whether it is “Trump is orchestrating extrajudicial killings” or “All/many presidents have orchestrated extrajudicial killings,” it has to end.
