Were the left to gain influence in the US Democratic Party, it would risk interfering with the nice litte Geschäft that the DNC types have going for them. A certain amount of cognitive dissonance is hardly to big a price to pay….

To the “WHY? !” in the last frame I would append for my purposes and mine alone, “[Why] don’t you come back to us like a cowering whimpering cur and be a subordinate bootlicker like us?!”
To which I would reply “Because you Democrats disgust me. I’m voting for none of the above.”
Which I will do by voting for someone I want but who is sure to lose.
I’d rather vote for a person I want and not get them than vote for a person I don’t want and get them.
That would be too masochistic for me.
It gets better when you’re old and nothing matters much. The Donkeys get hysterical down on the village green. You can hear their screams. But since they betrayed you so many times, you don’t really hear them. You turn up the radio a little. There’s a game on.
Another reason I hope for Trump’s re-election, despite what it will mean in the short term. A democratic party that lost to Trump? Twice? Even their most ardent fanboys (pre-consent obtained by mailing in a donation with a crush letter) will autopsy it:
1. Hillary Clinton DID rig the dnc primaries. Despite What The MSM Said.
2. The Clinton Foundation WAS an influence-peddling graft machine designed to funnel money and power into the Clintons’ pockets. DWTMSMS.
3. Bill AND Hill were both nothing more than whores for the Powers That Be. DWTMSMS.
4. Barack Obama was a lousy president, but a great puppet for Wall Street. DWTMSMS.
5. Joe Biden, known serial plagiarist, possible senility-enthusiast, WAS of the same stripe as the Clintons and Obama — who were, themselves, of the same strips as Pres. Cheney, Reagan, and Poppy Bush. DWTMSMS.
6. Joe, un, Biden’s son Hunter used papa to do a Clinton-lite escapade, and Biden lied about it because … family. DWTMSMS.
I don’t know if the NYPost’s October Surprise has legs, but I sure am looking forward to how the MSM will hand-wave it off.
