Michael Flynn in Trouble for Peacemongering with Russia, Warmongers Run Free

General Michael Flynn was fired as Donald Trump’s National Security Adviser after it was revealed that US spy agencies tapped his phone calls with Russian officials throughout the campaign. Those intercepts showed that he had spoken about dropping US sanctions against Russia should Trump get elected, a possible violation of the Logan Act. Compared to Obama and Bush’s warmongering and the impunity with which they did it, the reaction to Flynn’s peacemongering reveals a lot about our national priorities.
