On the Friday before Labor Day weekend, the New York Times broke news that might have ended the candidacy of Hillary Clinton â if it had been released at a time when people might be paying attention. As it happens, the house organ of the Hillary Clinton campaign released a classic media dump that exposed her as corrupt and wallowing in criminal behavior. If a scandal falls in the woods, does it make a sound?

Bingo. If it weren’t for Ted Rall, I wouldn’t know either. I gave up on the NYT after it became clear its vaunted reporting was for sale.
See? Hillary, Inc. is already better than BushCo. They had to wait until they were actually in the oval office before they could pull that trick. The pointy guy in the last panel shoulda learnt dat two administrations ago.

When Ms Dowd says that everyone must vote for Hillary, in spite of her flaws, because Trump is the worst candidate ever, the comments are (mostly) ‘The Times must fire Dowd immediately. St Hillary has absolutely no flaws, only lies by the evil Republicans. She is the best candidate for president EVER!’
And I see many of the gocomics comments sound about like that. One person always logs in to post, ‘I will never look at Rall’s comics ever again, and no decent person will, either.’
And, ‘I held a Top Secret clearance, and I can tell everyone that St Hillary did exactly the right thing about those e-mails, and was in full accord with US policy in all matters, and it’s only the lying Republicans who accuse her misdoings, when she did everything perfectly!’
I was invited to join a group with Baslim and martens. I posted a link to Gar Alperovitz’s article that the US nuking of Japan was not justified. Both said I should be banned from the group, that Gar Alperovitz is a proven liar, and anyone dumb enough to believe the garbage he wrote was not welcome in their group (but neither Baslim nor martens are the moderator, and the moderator did not take their advice).
I accidentally turned on the Russian Propaganda channel a week or two ago, and saw a cartoonist with a strong New York City accent saying Hillary had violated official policy with regards to those e-mails. Watching the lying Russian propaganda channel is an accident I try hard to avoid, but I seem to keep making it several times a week. Obviously, Baslim knows that Mr Rall is completely wrong, and told us all so. Of course, heinous crimes like ‘proof’ and ‘facts’ are always eschewed by both Baslim and martens, as should we all.

Realistically, Trump and Hillary are both scourges-in-waiting to be inflicted on the world for the next four years.
And most think it’s impossible for third party candidates to win one electoral college vote, much less a whole election.
We have nothing to lose but the world.
So:
Be realistic, demand the impossible.
