Behind Every Lame Guy

When he was desperate, John McCain picked a woman as his vice presidential candidate. Now Ted Cruz is doing the same thing. Is this becoming a new gambit for Republican guys in trouble?

  • Predator blacks and predator vaginas are big these days.

Policies that maintain the killer pyramid of power won’t be changed by “redecorating” the predator at the top of the hierarchy.

Even if you don’t HAVE a prick you can still BE a prick.

I see the NYTimes has an electoral map that shows HRC with something like 370 electoral votes for the general election.

    Hillarious. [sic]

Putting aside the possibility of a tie (which would be satire off the scale as the House chooses between HRC, the true Republican, and Donald Trump), it all boils down now to whom Donald Trump picks as a veep. Because that will, easily, put him over the top if he picks the right man or woman.

I wonder if Kissinger could, legally, take the spot as Hillary’s veep if she offered it to him. …

      sorry. 347 votes, not 370.

    • How much y’wanna bet T-Rump picks a mirror as his running mate? There is no one of whom he’s got a higher opinion.

Or maybe one of the yes-men from “The Apprentice”? (ain’t gonna be the yes-woman, that’s for sure)

David Duke? Lloyd Christmas? … Joe Bauers? Yeah that makes sense – Joe was elected president in Idiocracy. If Trump takes it, we will have achieved that ideal.

  • I read somewhere, I can’t remember, that DT should pick — as his VP — Ron Paul. Imagine it, DT gets assassinated and RP becomes president. EVERYBODY in the GOB* establishment will be protecting DT OVERTIME.

    • I can dream he’d pick one of the Pauls or Jesse Ventura. Ron said Trump was part of the problem though. And Rand attacked him. IIRC Ventura was open to it. I’d be satisfied with Buchanan but he seems like a poor choice politically.

I don’t really know who he should pick. Maybe Jim Webb. An old school Dem seems a good choice. Plenty I can think of who he shouldn’t! Just hard to come up with any impressive prominent Americans. Likely have fewest in our history.

      • Well, you know, Kennedy picked Johnson though LBJ had no real love or respect for Jack or Robert, and Reagan chose HW amid a mutual malaise, but we also are aware of what happened after that … actually liking T-rump is difficult for any ego even half the size.

I was thinking Cruz before the campaigns really got going and he showed what a snake he is.

Bernie is a good choice on some levels. I wouldn’t like it and I doubt Bernie would accept anyway.

    • Donald John Trump can’t pick Melania, as she, unlike Señor Cruz, is not a «natural born [US] Citizen», but he could pick Ivanka, as on 30 October, a little more than a week before the election, she will celebrate her 35th birthday, and thus eligible for the office of US president according to Article II, Section 1 of the US Constitution. Besides, she’s married to a nice Jewish chap – a «real estate developer» (imagine that !) – and has three no doubt photogenic children….

What more could one ask of a vice-presidential candidate ?…
