In Which I Say Things About Ben Carson

“Keep Calm And Vote for the Idiot Brain Surgeon: Behind the Inexplicable Appeal of Ben Carson”

  • Nice article. Can a brain surgeon be stupid? Or is he following in Bush’s footsteps? Many people have opined that Bush’s stupidity is merely an act. If either one is acting, then what does it say about the GOP electorate?

My take away is that the liberals want a president who is smarter than they are; while the conservatives want somebody as stupid as they are. Welcome to the Idiocracy!

  • And how does Carson’s idea about college students’ reporting offensive political language from their professors fit into this?

  • Is any more proof needed to judge who the TROLL might be? Jeez, how infantile can one get? Y’all be the judges.

    πŸ˜€

    • Infantile? Seriously? After you’ve thrown a two-week hissy fit?

Since it was obvious that you were either unwilling or unable to communicate in an adult manner, I figured I’d try it on your level.

      NYAH NYAH NYAH NYAH!

      • You have my support, CH. By my calculations, a majority of der lehrer’s posts are complaints about “trolls.”

      • @jack – meh, I’m done. I either got my point across or I didn’t. No use flogging a dead horse.

      • You really owned your part with the avatar change though. Nice touch.

    • Yet more proof to substantiate my judgment.

    • This thread is all that’s needed to perfectly prove the TROLLING of certain parties.

My on-topic post about Carson and his asking students to rat on college professors was immediately the target for TROLL after TROLL.

The proof is there; and calling me a troll does not refute the obvious.

      Jackasses! (oops, ad hominem)

      • Did it really go that far over your head, derlehrer?

That was my imitation of the temper tantrum you’ve been throwing for the last couple of weeks.

Oh, well, if you’re that set on being sworn enemies, I guess we’ll be sworn enemies. I won’t waste any more bandwidth trying to talk to you as either an adult or as a child.

I shall miss the camaraderie, though.

      • Oh, no — I understood from the outset what your goal was, as the TROLL you have proved to be. I’ve dealt with your kind over many years, from kindergarten level to high school. The difference is, most of them were more mature than you have shown yourself to be. You can’t compete intellectually, so you disrupt the classroom and become the clown. You would rather call attention to yourself and disrupt the discussion, since you have nothing of importance to offer. I challenge you to deny these allegations, asshole.

      • der lehrer, are you really that dense or just going senile? CH isn’t interested in your feud. He’s mocking you for being so childish (an accusation I’ve leveled at you before). He’d like to get along with you. Hell even I would. Yeesh.

      • … as if I give a shit what a coven of TROLLs think or want.

      • Covens are for witches…feminist witches! *CACKLES*

      • Obviously, you don’t have the education to understand, and haven’t looked up the definition. F’ing idiot, try Google.

  • I think that in some way, Carson believes that the things he is saying are what people want to hear – and judging from the responses from the Republicans – this must be true – at least for a great many of them.
America is chock’full’o’nuts now. Some have always been that way, and the simmering resentment, racism and frustration of not getting their way over the last 7 years has pushed more Republicans into this category. There are also the facts that Democrats simply fail to show up to vote as much as Repubs do, the influence of money and special interests is off the charts across the board, and a great portion of the populace is ignorant and apathetic – a great many of them shell-shocked from the constant wars and the crazy society they live in.

  • So, how’d Carson win over the Donald? Why has no one guessed — just maybe — poll-fraud? It seem that Carson winning is viewed as an anomaly. Could it be that somebody somewhere found a way to screw with the poll numbers and not easily get caught?

Of course, Ted’s DADS (dumb-as-dog-shit) theory is also just as likely.

    DanD

    • Yeah, that shocked me, too. But Carson’s only at 26% of the GOP ‘likely voters’- nowhere near a majority; and of course, that means only 13% of the electorate taken as a whole.

It must be horrifying to be a member of the RNC today. Do they keep disenfranchising blacks or not? How about all those talking heads who’ve made O’bummer’s race an issue? Will they refute their earlier claims? Carson’s a Seventh Day Adventist – is that as bad as being a Muslim? The Waco Wackos were SDA as well.

If Carson takes the nomination, there’s no way he’ll be elected. It’s not that the GOP will vote for Hillary, but rather they’ll just stay home rather than vote for a black man.

      • I think he is a pawn of TPTB to spoil Trumps chances. Regardless, many GOP voters will be eager to vote for such a nonthreatening black man who holds many of their views since that, they hope, will prove they are not racisss. For some reason, there are many GOP voters who actually care what liberals think despite claiming otherwise.
