    Torture is like free “love”. Rape is a large component of torture.

    The 59% of Americans who approve of torture have reason to celebrate in the normalization of rape.

    Ted, I didn’t lose my way either….
    I was protesting the invasion of Iraq before the fact; and I sent emails demanding the closure of the Guantanamo internment (torture) camp.
    It’s a shame that the majority of U.S. citizens have been brainwashed.
    This is not the United States I knew in my youth. (I was serving in the U.S. Army when “Free Love” and drugs were available, especially at Haight-Ashbury; and I missed Woodstock, too!!) 🙁

    “The report contains a key passage on page 33 revealing that senior lawyers at the CIA in mid 2002, at the very beginning of the CIA’s program, drafted a letter to the Attorney General in which it is expressly acknowledged that the interrogation tactics that came to be known as “enhanced interrogation techniques” violated the US torture statute.”
