We all complain about the sorry state of the media these days. That includes lame political analysis and insipid cartoons that not only don’t make you think, they didn’t make the cartoonist who drew them think.
Unfortunately, if you like hard-hitting commentary, you can’t get the mainstream media to support it. To the contrary — they stifle it. So it’s up to you.
This is my pitch to consider the Ted Rall Subscription Service. For $30 a year you get my work emailed to you at the same time as my editors get it. In many cases this means you get it days before anyone else. That’s all the cartoons, including freelance cartoons that only appear in one publication, plus columns and essays, plus illustrations. You also get discounted rates on my books and original artwork so if you see a toon you like, you can buy it for your wall.
